Working
At Argo
Argo is committed to being one of the best insurance companies to work for and an industry leader in continuing education.
When business leaders prioritize employees’ growth, they create opportunities for individual and organizational success. As our industry faces a looming gap in institutional knowledge, it’s now more important than ever to ensure that current and future generations have the resources they need to learn and grow.
We use technology to provide educational pathways to our employees around the world. Our Argo Academy has launched the Degreed digital learning platform to give employees more control over their personal and professional development by affording them access to thousands of resources and artificial intelligence-based content customization. “Verifiable skills are the business currency of the future,” says Christina Parr, vice president of talent management and organizational development.
“What I enjoy most about working for Argo are the people and the collaborative environment we have built. I am proud to say I’ve been here over 15 years.”– Lauren Welch, assistant vice president, head of U.S. Segment Accounting
In a day and age when we’re asked to do more with less, Degreed provides insights to help employees do things better in their day-to-day lives – inside and outside of the office. By investing in the platform, Argo becomes a stronger, more skilled and more valuable company.
In 2019, Training magazine ranked Argo among the top organizations with the most successful learning and development programs in the world.
Employees share their knowledge and experiences with insurance professionals outside of Argo as well. For instance, in 2018, we created the Ascend With Argo program to help educate and build relationships with early-career producers, and the Argo Seguros team developed a webinar series to benefit brokers and policyholders in Brazil.
We believe that sharing best practices is always a good strategy because the success of one company boosts the industry as a whole.
